The well polished and weighted hand-crafted pieces featuring ornately carved knights and six-crenellation rooks are fashioned from natural and ebonised boxwood distinctively finished with red felt bases. An additional queen of each colour is included, all presented in a beautiful hand-crafted box with felt lining, divider, latch and Polgar motif.

The full-border board in well-contrasted cassia siamea and maple with matching Polgar motif is 18 mm thick with 55 x 55 mm squares and complements the 95 mm king heights pieces perfectly.
